Review: Just Say Yes

Just Say Yes Just Say Yes by Samantha Lind
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Just Say Yes is book one in the Indianapolis Eagles Hockey series and a great way to kickoff this series. I’m a Blackhawks fan so seeing them compete against the Eagles is awesome even if not in real life. Scott and Becca were each other’s first loves but went separate ways when his career went professional. This was not something Scott wanted and while you can see why Becca did what she felt best at the time the love these two felt and still feel with each other is present. While you read this, you will see that yes, maybe they could have made a go with their relationship, but I truly feel that they were young and had to experience their dreams before their dream of a HEA came together.
She did a good job of avoiding him over the years, but now that he’s back in his hometown he’s hoping to show Becca that he deserves a second chance. Can they work out the things that led them to end the relationship in the first place? Can Becca let her insecurities and independence open up to get her back into Scott’s life? These are some of the questions beside will she say “Yes” that you will be asking reading this story.
This is a great second chance romance story and the bond that these Eagles have are what led them to a win with the cup and for the stories that are yet to come. Kinsley is Becca’s best friend and Brian is Scott’s teammate and hilarious. These two hopefully are next in line for a story.
