One decision was all it took for Ethan Fuller’s life to be flipped upside down and for Maci Dane’s twenty-year plan to fall off the rails.

Ethan tells Maci about the invisible thread that links two people destined to be together. The road isn’t always smooth, but eventually the two people holding the thread will find their way to each other.

They found their way together, yet they keep finding themselves apart. Mistake after mistake, lie after lie, grudge after grudge...it may be too much for two people to overcome.

Are Maci and Ethan tied by the invisible thread, or will their thread break before they can find their way to happiness?

BLOGS REVIEW

The Invisible Thread is the conclusion to Maci and Ethan’s story, so you will need to read book one, The Power to Break before reading this book as it is a duet (The Unbreakable Thread). At the end of book one we were hanging by that thread waiting to see what transpires and the beginning of this book picks up right where it left off, so you didn’t have to wrack your brain on memory to get back into the story.
Maci is still set on revenge, but feelings are twisting with if she can continue her charade. She knows she needs to let go of the lies and secrets and come clean with Ethan, but our grudge holder of VAIL may not be able to let go once he learns the truth and knows that his gut was somewhat on track for destruction. We all know that these two are vary hard headed and stubborn so it’s a good thing we have Mark and Reese as their support team.
Ethan is the typical bad boy rocker that we know he loves to live up to, but when his softer side comes out you want to hug and love him, but when his bad side comes out you want to shake him and call him an a$$ at times. His road was rocky there for a while, but he needs to either break the thread or thread up some more songs for collaboration.
It is what it is, and it is what it isn’t may have been Dani/Maci’s saying, but it was the thread that held these two tied together. It is what it is holds true when they finally stop skirting around and release the power that is holding them back for more. It is what it isn’t is their story in itself as the secrets and lies that lead to many mistakes that could have been deterred if only they spoke their mind right away and didn’t hold onto the past. Their collaboration of writing was one of the best ways for them to not only make songs together, but for them to release their feelings to each other whether good or bad.
VAIL’s success and relationships are expanding so I can only hope that this means we get to see more of the whole VAIL crew down the road. While two of the band members were paired together and don’t have books, there is some things that we want to know about them so hoping that we maybe get a novella on them and the struggles we saw. I really hope to see this band in the future. I loved the Epilogue and think the dual POV makes these stories that much better.
Penny for my thoughts….Griff your story better be next cause although you are not a VAIL band member you are the key to Maci and her schedule especially when touring with VAIL.
