 Pretty Ugly is book two in the Addicted Hearts and if you thought Pretty Reckless (book one) was Reckless think again cause we see the Ugly before the Pretty comes to light in this Addicted Hearts duet. Kat and Chase story continues in this emotional ride of broken souls who show us that our soul-deep love isn’t easy and you’ll cry and laugh then hurt for them while getting that raw passion these two share so deeply. Any addiction is hard to beat and affects each person differently. No matter how strong you are the temptation and daily struggle of life can make you either hit rock bottom or fight your demons. You will rely heavily on family including friends that you call family or your sponsor.

We saw Kat’s flaw and Chase shows her that flaws and all she is loved and helps her the best way he can. He knows addiction and overcoming this is one thing until the past resurfaces. Know that saying the blast from the past, well this is it. You cannot define your past, but you can define your future and while the past may resurface you need to keep strong to move on and not backwards.
