Further to Fall is the authors debut book and you would never know this. The writing is spot on, captivates your attention throughout the whole book and you fall in love with not only the main characters, but the secondary characters as well. I would love to see these secondary characters Fall down the road! This is a second chance, enemy to friend-lovers romance.
Carter is a teacher and wants to make a difference in someone’s life even for those less fortunate in a limited budget school. Austin is an up and coming MMA fighter. They share a mutual friend, Liam, who was Carter’s childhood BF and they remain friends till this day and see each other each chance they get. Her moving to LA allows her to see him more even in his crazy musician schedule. Well, her friend Taylor that she meets at her new school she will be teaching at become good friends right away. They decide to meet up with Liam and let’s just say that Austin treats her like a groupie and starts off on a bad foot with Carter. Yikes! Love how Ford, Austin/Liam’s friend pushes buttons with these two!
Austin was a complete Alpha and focused on his fighting that at times he was to blind to let the feelings win when it came to Carter. They start out as enemies due to their first encounter, but the friendship line is starting to blur and one-night tears them apart. He lost her once and that gutted him, but he’s going to battle his title wins and for the girl. Will Carter forgive him and give him a second chance? Someone watches from the sidelines and will do anything to keep them apart-mystery held on as you start to lean one way, then lean the other way on who it is. Wow! Speechless and crazy!
