Lan you can say may be going through a mid-life crisis- he’s forty and he thought by now he would have the picket fence dream. Well his dream now consists of two men- one being his partner in the force (who is straight as an arrow) and the other being his ex who he hurt in the past, but still holds close to his heart.
Parker, his partner on the force and has quite the temper tude. He’s shocked a few times as some events came “Out of the Blue” (pun intended). Easton (the one who was hurt by Lan) still emotionally struggles with this hurt ten years later. Just when he thinks he can find a new normal-fickle fate comes in “Out of the Blue” (again pun intended).
Limits are pushed and tested by Parker, Easton and Lan, but one thing is for sure these men are all Alphas and will protect at no expense. Add into the blue, the Hawks MC and this story has many explosive things going on (best way to state this without spoilers). Loved the Parker reaction to his discovery as I feel this relates to how this would be dealt with in a real-life situation. The cover portrays this trio perfectly and Lila once again gave us an amazing, action packed, full of feelings and emotions story. You truly feel for each man and see their side to things. You love them each equally, faults and all.
