Blurb

He was my salvation.

Addalyn “Addie” Blackfoot

I was somewhere I shouldn’t have been, doing something I shouldn’t have been doing. As Tyler Blackfoot’s daughter, I know better. There are expectations to being who I am, but I’ve never fully lived up to them.

Adoption.

It’s supposed to be the answer to prayers – both for the parents and the child. Me? I’ve always felt a little out of place, like I couldn’t settle down, a flower blowing in the breeze, waiting to be uprooted.

Until the moment he stepped in front of me, taking the blade of the knife meant for me. I didn’t know his name, but the way he looked at me, it was like he knew all my secrets, but didn’t care. It was reckless and passionate, and I never thought of the consequences.

I figured after I got what I wanted from him, I could break it off and never see him again.

I was wrong…….

Wilder “Wild” Evans

She came into my life when I least expected it. Strong, fearless, and ready to take whatever the asshole holding the knife was going to dish out.

For months after, I couldn’t get enough of her. Her joy in life, the way her eyes lit up when she saw me, and the smile that popped dimples in her cheeks when she wasn’t paying attention. She calmed every part of a man who’d never had steady and I craved it.

Then it was gone. She became a different person, left without a trace, and ignored my texts.

Fate intervened, and I found her again.

I got my calm...

She got her wild...

Blogs Review

Wild is book 2 in the Heaven Hill Generation series and each book can be read as a standalone. If you read book one than you will see that this story runs concurrent with book 1 so if you start out of order you’re not missing anything. Addalyn AKA Addie is battling with feeling out of place and like she doesn’t belong. She’s adopted, well loved and cared for, but there is still something missing inside of her. Add into the mix feeling left out of her BF’s life and you got a recipe for disaster. Add in another lost soul and you have Wilder AKA Wild. Left with no family he hits to the road to find a new destination to set some roots into. Well fate has plans for Wild and lands him in Bowling Green for a pit stop to fix his bike to head back on the road. But if we learn anything reading the Heaven Hill series its that the MC protect their town and those they know are real. Never did Wild think he would land his roots in BG, but love makes you see outside of the goggles at times. He knows this is the place to dig his roots whether he had Addie or not.
These two lost souls help each other understand the loss/hurt they feel and why. Wild being in Mayhem was just that for a bit when it came to Addie. Addie may not have made the best decisions, but it placed her into Wild’s life for a reason.  You will get angry, feel the hurt, laugh and love how loving and awesome not only the whole MC crew is but how much Tyler (her dad) and her mom love her. They may not be her blood, but she is Tyler all the way. Addie and Tate (her BF) know that their friendship will always be there just not as much as before these men came into their live. We not only get the story of Addie, but we see some trouble brewing on the MC side. There is one thing we know though and that is this MC will move Heaven and Hill to ensure their town is safe. I’ve said it before and I will continue to say this until I read the series of Heaven Hill. I know shame on me! This is a family that you want to read even more after seeing how they are grown up. I cannot wait to see what transpire next in the Generation series and what is to come of the MC.
