Sexiest Dad Alive by M. Clarke

Life isn’t a fairytale. Sometimes you have to fight for happily ever after. And sometimes you just have to let go.

Sexiest Dad Alive (Knight Magazine #3) by M. Clarke is

Josh Bennett

It was a simple offer.

I invited Isla to rent a room in my five thousand square foot home. Plenty of rooms and plenty of space. But the second she moved in, I knew I was in trouble. I could handle wanting her when there was distance between us, but once we started to play house, all my pent up desire started knocking down walls.

That was my first mistake of many.

The private investigator I hired to track down my ex found her not far from where I live. I should have locked my past behind me, but something urged me to find her. I’m glad I did. But our union left me with a situation to be reckoned with.

When a new fire is lit and old flames rekindle, one will have to burn out.
The decisions I’ll have to make won’t be easy.
No matter what I choose, my heart will break.

M. Clarke aka Mary Ting resides in Southern California with her husband and two children. She enjoys oil painting and making jewelry. Writing her first novel, Crossroads Saga, happened by chance. It was a way to grieve the death of her beloved grandmother, and inspired by a dream she once had as a young girl. When she started reading new adult novels, she fell in love with the genre. It was the reason she had to write one-Something Great. Why the pen name, M Clarke? She tours with Magic Johnson Foundation to promote literacy and her children’s chapter book-No Bullies Allowed.

This may be book three in the Knight Fashion series; however, they can each be read as a standalone. Don't believe me? Well maybe this will help you agree.
This is the first book, I have read by this author or in this KF series. It will hook you from page one until the very end. Yes, you see characters from the prior books and can see other characters with potential stories as well to come, but you do not need to read any of them if you do not choose to. I do want to go back and read the other two in this series though because all these characters will intrigue you. I've always heard great reviews about this author and I will definitely be reading more by this author.
Any dad story hooks me, but add in the sexiest model and you got yourself a hot story with some tough decisions to make. Just ask Josh! He didn't always have it good. Yes, he came from a well off family, but his life decision was no fairy-tale. It took some time for him to get where he was today. Add in an old flame and a new flame and you got yourself twisted trying to decide what to do. Do you go back and rekindle your old flame or do you let it be in the past and move on with the current flame?
Let's just say that it is OK to revisit your past to get closure or answers (or the ultimate burn), but could you really forgive and forget? Yes, some may and others may not. No two stories are the same. Nate and Olivia (characters in the book) could justify that as well. There's a reason they are called an EX-shell (not misspelled and you will find out why in the book) remain in the past with memories to hold onto only.
Isla is many things to Josh- a friend, a roommate and a co-worker. They are in a new territory and what Josh uncovers may or may not sit well with Isla. Bet you'd like to know, huh? Someone is bound to end up with a broken heart, but will Josh's decision be the right one is the question you will be wanting to find out while reading this?
Your ovaries and heart will explode many times over reading this book. I was kinda nervous there towards the end. Whew! heart is no longer in my throat. I am very happy with the ending. I do have to say typically not many cover models mirror the book as they should and M Clarke was spot on with her decision to use Josh and his daughter for this cover. His character actually portrays his funny and down to earth personality Josh has in real life. If you ever have gotten a chance to meet him or follow him on social media do it. He is awesome! Throughout the story we can easily relate to what others experience in a blended relationship (this is what I will call it). It isn't easy and is very real what we see portrayed in this story. The author didn't give us a fairy-tale she gave us the truth to how all parties involved feel. You may want to throttle a character quite a few times while reading this. Not saying who so that is for you to decide. I highly recommend this book as you get a little mystery, funny characters and chemistry explosion all in this one.
