Synopsis
It was a bad idea from the beginning. He was my brother's best friend and the definition of unavailable. But I didn't care. I had loved him for as long as I could remember. He was worth the risk. He was worth everything. But then he broke my heart as easily as I fell for him. He watched me fall, spiraling out of control, and as I reached for him, he wasn't there to catch me. So I ran. Four years later, I never expected to see him again. He was still my brother's best friend, and he was more unavailable than ever. He looked every bit the bad boy I knew he was, covered in tattoos and a crooked smile. Guarding my heart from him was top priority because Parker James was where good girls go to die. Unfortunately for him, I wasn't a good girl anymore.

BLOGS REVIEW

Think I just died and gone to heaven after reading this book. Parker will have you melting in many ways let me tell you. Make sure you have nothing planned for a few hours as you will want to read this in one sitting. You have been warned! This is the first book that I have read by this author and it will not be the last. We see the story unfold from the past to present so it gives us an insight to how it led to the now and why the were not given a shot in high school. I love that it was told from a dual POV as well so we got to see both sides of their feelings. Let me just say that I am so glad it turned out the way it did cause I did not like Emily. Who’s Emily? Well the only clue you are getting is she has ties to Parker. Read the story to find out if you agree with me.
This story is action packed with lies, secrets, intense passion and full of angst. There are quite a few bomb droppers too, but the best is Mason’s reaction with Brandon’s spins. Epic! You will not only fall in love with Parker and Liv, but you will want to explore more on Mason (Liv’s brother and Parkers BF), Brandon and Stacie.  The drawings that Forbidden Ink does are to die for and if I was not so scared of needles, this would be on tat I would want.
Parker and Liv were high school sweethearts that didn’t get a chance to be a 100% couple due to Mason ties. If only these two had done things differently their story may have gone down a different road. All I can say is what are the odds that they show up four years later at Liv’s job no less. I would die of embarrassment if this happened to me. Mason brings Liv back home whether she wants to be home or not. The best is Brandon offering Liv a job! You sneaky man!
This story will tug at your heart and has it beating till the very end. Though sometimes those beats are not good and you think you may flatline. Woo so glad it starts pumping again! We all are Wild at Heart (even if many hide this side) and this book will be one that will stick with you well after you finish this book. One of the best of 2017 so far!!  I cannot wait to read more in this series to see who is next and where are heart will go with the storyline!
