Happy Release Day to S. Moose & C.A. Harms!
WHY I'M YOURS is now LIVE!
WHY I'M YOURS
by CA Harms & S Moose
A point in time, an unexpected event, changes everything.
Reagan’s life was about to begin. A recent college graduate with her career about to launch, she was living in Boston with her best friends. She had everything she worked hard for until one man took it all away, leaving her feeling empty and desolate.
After spending a few years alone, Reagan finally moves to Chicago with her best friend, Aimee, and vows to put her past behind her. When Reagan lands a job at Powers Financial, she never expects to find the one person that would give her back the girl she left behind years ago.
Drew Powers loves being the powerful CFO of a successful corporation and raising his son, Dawson. He's known as "asshat" at the company and it doesn't help calm his temper or patience. Drew's main focus doesn't include love or commitment. Those are the last things on his mind.
When the reserved and beautiful Reagan Halloway bumps into him and tests his patience, he ignores the lust he feels for her until she becomes all he can think about.
Fate is a powerful thing. A force that leads two people to one another and gives them both the one thing they didn’t know they were missing.

BLOGS REVIEW
First, I want to say, do not start reading this book until
you have time to read in full! This story grabs you from the prologue while you
are crying for Reagan. Your feels are going to be tested with this story.
Second, if you are a fan of CA or Moose you are going to love how they
collaborated this story together. Third, who doesn’t love kids in these
stories. I will say you will not only love Dawson, however, your heart will
break for him as well.
Reagan is ready to begin her career now that she is done
with college. One-night changes this all for her and leaves her battling survival
and making her heart and emotions blank and hard. While she has the support of
her BF, Aimee, she (BF) will not push for what happens to Reagan until she is
ready. The only part that I agree on in the prologue, is that “weak beaches
need chasers”. You don’t need any chasers, just feel the burn. You will only
understand that sentence if you read the book.
She begins her life a few years later in Chicago with Aimee
being her roommate. She still has that armor in place, but she views life
differently. One quote that will stand out and is spot on is, “We spend so much
time running from one place to another that we miss most of our day” We are in
a fast-paced world compared to years ago and this is so true. She is ready to
start her job as an assistant and her dream of disaster may become reality.
Case in point, meet Drew!
Drew, is the CFO of the company she works at. He is known as
the @$$ of the company and Reagan meets this first hand when she literally crashes
into him. OH my gosh, I would die, but the payback she does is hilarious and
knowing that her boss (Drew’s mom) and his cousin, Remy knew was priceless. He may
be an @$$, but he has good reason once you meet his ex. Wow! The only good
thing out of that relationship was his son, Dawson. He is focused on his career
and his son, he scratches the itch when needed, but is not ready to be in a
relationship. Running into Reagan may have burned; however, since then he sees
her and there is something about that hard shield she puts up that he cannot
ignore. These two from the beginning have a hate/love relationship, but good
ole Dawson makes them see that one relationship is better and makes them all
happier.
Reagan still struggles with her cruel “coffee girl”
experience (you must read the book to know what this means) and when she lets
her armor down with Drew he knows she needs slow even before the truth is
revealed. Let’s just say that I am so glad he ignored his ex with her
background on Reagan cause it wasn’t what you thought. Most men would not do
slow and the fact that he was going slow when he wanted the BAM makes you fall
for Drew that much more. You see the softer side of him and those moments with
Dawson alone are heartfelt. Miranda,
CEO, Reagan’s boss and Drew’s mom is awesome. She loves her assistant, but her
set-up was spot on cause they needed to open their eyes to more than the hate
that they bickered towards each other.
Oh, this book has your emotions all over the place. You are
crying, laughing, chanting, “NO, NO, it better not be!” and falling in love
with not only the main characters, but the secondary too. Fate comes into play
with these two and you shall see why. Fate can be cruel, but it can also be
where it leads you to where you need to go down a path for the better after the
hurt. There is so much more I can say about that book, but I won’t. Just read
the book cause you will fall in love over and over. Reagan was meant to share a
bond with Dawson and you will see why throughout the book. Can I just say that
Remy, I need your story like now! Guess it’s good that I live in Chi-town (OK,
close to it, but I work down there) to keep myself occupied until this is
released (quote from book, “Chicago will never get boring there is so much to
do”).
