Weeks became
months, and months became years. Each day nudged Kason deeper into his
addiction. Each memory of the girl destroyed fed the craving for what he could
never have again.
Leaving a life-altering first love behind, Adaline tried moving forward to find love and trust and happiness. Pain eventually faded, wounds slowly healed, yet scars were forever left behind.
But some scars feel like kisses.
When the shattered pieces of their hearts are forced to meet again, the two of them must decide how much pain their love is worth enduring.
This is what happens when one person loves beyond the craving and the other craves beyond the loving.

BLOGS REVIEW
This is a duet and you will need to read Part One prior to reading this book. Have no fear that you will forget how Part One ended as this book picks up right where it left off. Yes, shattering our hearts and Adaline's including Kason. If you felt emotional in Part One, you haven't felt anything until you read Part Two. Holy tears rolling down your face! OK, I expected a small portion of tears, but I wasn't expecting the turn it took. We not only continue to see the struggle with Kason's addiction (again I want to remind others that it is not an addiction that is openly spoken about and your heart breaks for him), but we get Ady's side of the story of dealing with the aftermath of her traumatic life changing moment that destroys her. I don't even think that is the right word to describe what she goes through and the struggle she has to recover.
Ady you will hate/love her, but more than not you will be wanting to shake her to try to get her head to where it should be and not what she is doing. Instead of giving the option to Kason to see if he can deal with the aftermath she runs. Oh boy does she run and just when you want to stop being mad at her and happy that she is happy she destroys it by breaking some of our hearts. Micah you are a true friend and so much more. She may be your "Guppy", but my heart is still broken days later from finishing this book. One I wish we could have seen a POV from you to bring this all together and two, I hope we get a book about you cause you deserve love. Then we need a book on Trent and Kate. Are those two ever going to not just be friends?
The first half of the book is about Ady and how she is overcoming her experience and how she is trying to move on. Just when you start wanting to clap that it's happy moments another twist brings you to your knees. That one phone call from her mom is going to change her life again and others. You may want to grab those tissues, yet again! Your heart breaks for Kason and I will say Micah too. As much as I love Kason, I was still rooting for Micah. The second half is where we see Kason's side. Hadn't that boy experienced enough trauma in his life while still trying to overcome his addiction!? You just want to hug and love him. You are pulled for all and know someone's heart is going to be destroyed. Gosh, there is so much more I want to say, but I don't want to provide spoilers on this. So here is how I am going to sum this up-If you thought you knew where this story was going to go, you are WRONG! You will feel the angst, love, hurt and passion that each character portrays in this story. You will need tissues and a stress ball or shot of choice so you don't break your Kindle. You will see the Crave and how hard it is to live with this disease and how hard it can be to love someone with this. Bravo to the author for speaking on this subject! Whether you agree with how the ending ended or not, two souls can only be apart for so long. I'm proud of Kason and all that he accomplished as he could have chosen a completely different path in life. How far would you go for your Crave fix?
