Scarlett is a number one country music star, but while she has it all she is lonely and isolated by her manager-well with good reason for the most part, but everyone needs a little freedom. When she meets, Maverick, he is a nomad, but he shows her that he wants to know her for her and not her stardom and that he will be there even when danger comes into play. Both have a past that they are trying to overcome, but as we will find out with the added suspense in this story that it was almost fated that they met as her past might help one of his current battles in his club, the Iron Fury. The question is can he trust Scarlett or will he think she was in on it? Will he hear her out?
This is the start of the Iron Fury MC series and while it centers around Scarlett and Maverick, it introduces us to other characters that we will see down the road. If you love music or MC reads this book is for you. You will not want to put it down and after that ending, you cannot wait to read the next book in the series. We get it all in here suspense, explosive chemistry, alpha hottie and the need for both to breathe clearer. Your hurt will break for Scarlett cause having it all isn’t always the best as you will see. So until the next book is available take a shot of Whiskey and feel the BURN!
