Review: Always His

Always His Always His by C.A. Harms
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Always His will tug at your emotions and you will have you laughing, crying and rooting all at once. You will see both sides of the story and see how many could relate to this story. This is the first book, in the Crazed Devotion series and after this epilogue I cannot wait for the next book. There is not a book yet by CA that you do not fall in love with.
Ryker had two dreams, being a Marine and Nicole. He did what he thought best, when he left, although it broke his heart. His brothers may have loved to give him crap about his girl, but they knew she was the “ONE”. He returns five years later and it won’t be easy to try to get Nicole to see that they belong together and to beg for forgiveness. Can she let it go is the question?
Nicole was devastated when Ryker left and may have put on a good face, but those close to her knew otherwise. There is one evil person involved in this story and the only good out of this was Tori. Tori gave her the will to move on. When she learns of Ryker’s return you can see the love they both still have for each other. She isn’t going to make it easy for her to forgive him, but his actions show that he will stop at nothing to get a second chance with her.
You will see that these two were meant to be soul mates, it just wasn’t the right time for that when they were younger. Plus, there would be no Tori, and your heartbeats when it comes to the interaction between Ryker and Tori has you rooting even more for Ryker. It makes you fall in love with Ryker even more, Tori was his no matter who she stemmed from. We not only get to see a story about Nicole and Ryker, but we meet his brothers and see some interesting bonds between these secondary characters. Love is never easy and the second time around is that much sweeter. These two have a lot of questions and answers to overcome, but if they can overcome this anything is possible. Can Ryker redeem himself when it comes to Nicole? Read the story and find out.
