Aurora Rose Reynolds is a navy brat who's husband served in the United States Navy. She has lived all over the country but now resides in New York City with her Husband and pet fish. She's married to an alpha male that loves her as much as the men in her books love their women. He gives her over the top inspiration everyday. In her free time she reads, writes and enjoys going to the movies with her husband and cookie. Falling Fast can be taken in so many ways, falling in love quickly, falling in your life when you realized what you were told wasn’t true and falling trying to keep up with life that is taking you on the most unexpected turns that lead you to the BOOM! Gia’s whole life is turned upside down when she learns that her maternal grandma is not dead as she was leading to believe. She does what most young people would not do, she drops everything and leaves Chicago to go to Tennessee to help her grandma whose dementia is deteriorating fast. I will say that Ned and Nina were her angels. Well to both her grandma and Gia.
Gia finds a job in a bar and of course her boss is hot, but the BOOM is real and that one look for Colton is all it takes to know that Gia is the one! It won’t be easy as Gia is not like your typical girl and add in your crazy a$$ ex-fiancé along with overcoming being a Marine and defying what they said you would never do again. He does slow though and his Alpha protectiveness and just those forehead kisses will want you wanting your own Colton.
We get twist when it comes to the crazy ex, we get the swoony feels when it comes to Colton and his actions and words for Gia and way he supports her with all she had endured since coming to that small town. Your heart will beat a few times cause there were a few twists that I was like, “please believe her”. You shall see and agree! You laugh with Nat and you cry with Gia. I will say that where Nat is headed was not what I was expecting, I was expecting it with whom shall be next in line. That is all I am saying, but I cannot wait for the next one in this line of characters. They may have moved fast, but it was truly at the pace that fit them. Yet again another book that you fall in love with by ARR.
