BLOGS REVIEW

Brody Wolfe is the Wolf and Lilly Redd is the girl from “Little Red Riding Hood” is how I would like to think of these two, but so much better than our version of how we were told the story. Brody, will stop at nothing to Hunt down the sale of a building in her town and then Ms. Redd when these two meet in person. Mr. Wolfe and Ms. Redd were enemies and the banter between these two in emails trying to secure or save the building was hilarious. They both are fighting for what they want out of the deal, but never did they imagine intense feeling would come into play when they meet in person.
Lilly may hate him, but the tingly sensations tells otherwise. The red colors you may hide behind, but don’t you know the Wolf is like a Bull and loves Red. Just saying. I’m sure you will agree once you read the story and see where I am being vague on this. The light bulb will go off and you will be like, “ahh, that is what she is speaking of!”
Brody always gets what he wants and this includes when things go BAD. Yes, the twist here left me wanting to strangle a different Wolfe, but even this feisty woman didn’t trust Brody when she should have. She may run, but you can’t hide forever in Gingham Lakes (or your version of the Gingerbread house). The tension and banter are spot on for those two. You can love to hate him, but in the end, you need to stop running and trust that the Wolf is not always bad and is getting what he wants on both ends of the deal.
While this is a novella, based in the series and town, it does not need to be read with any other of the Fight for Me Series to understand the book. This novella was just to hold us over until the next release in the series. Follow your heart and the Hunt in the end will be well worth it.
