Review: Vice

Vice Vice by Rosanna Leo
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Vegas tends to have one Vice for people-gambling; however, that is about to change when Kate becomes the Vice to the biggest tycoon in Vegas business. Oh my, it is funny, but it is not. At times it could almost seem hypocritical as she is hiding a huge secret while protesting the new hotel and volunteering at New Horizons for gamblers anon. But what we see on the outside always has another side that others don’t get to see. We get to see a side of Kate and Liam that is well hidden. Liam maybe powerful, but his hurt and what he is fighting for will tug at your heart. Kate seems Liam as the temptation that destroys families, but that hidden side that she wasn’t supposed to see may be a game changer for these two.
We meet Wade, who is Liam’s trusty security guard and like Kate’s cookies and I would love to see more on him down the road. As you read you will see that others can easily relate to this story from and addiction side whether, you yourself experienced this or you were the family member who had to experience this as well as seeing the love that is about to be released. That ending totally went the opposite of what I thought and I could not be happier with the way it turned out. You find out that love can make you stop and think and do things you never thought you would while still keeping your dream alive. The hotel names were perfect for Vegas and had me wondering which hotels were supposed to portray them. Guess on my next yearly visit to Vegas I should pay more attention to each hotel and try put my finger on which ones may fit the bill. Will I win or lose is the question?
So, try your Vegas luck and choose your game of choice and pick up Vegas Vice and see if you agree if this is a win or lose? I say it was a complete Win!
