Title: I'm Only Here For The Beard
Series: The Dixie Warden Rejects #4
Author: Lani Lynn Vale
Genre: MC Romance
Release Date: May 31, 2017 Photographer: Furious Fotog Model: Hankins Fitness
Sean is a man with needs—needs that a lot of women were ready and willing to fulfill. Yet, the only woman that he wants to fulfill them dumped him for another man. A man who’s a member of his MC and is someone he has to see every single day and twice on Sundays.
He’s bitter and angry. He’s definitely not in the right frame of mind when it comes to dealing with women. Which is unfortunate for his new partner, Naomi, a fresh-out-of-school and totally green paramedic.
---
Naomi’s got enough problems on her plate. A brother who’s self-destructive and doesn’t care who he takes down with him. A man who she’s in love with but who doesn’t love her. A job that she hates because it is a constant reminder of what she can’t have.
Desperate to distance herself from her problems, she runs, taking the first job in her field that she finds willing to take on someone with so little experience.
The last thing she needs is a perpetually pissed off partner, especially when he sets her blood on fire.
But life doesn’t ask how much you can handle when it dishes out challenges. It just keeps piling them on until you’ve bested them or you’ve buckled under them.
---
Sean really doesn’t want to like his new partner, Naomi. He just wants to be left alone to live his life however he damn well pleases and without complications.
Naomi doesn’t care what he wants, she can’t be anything but herself. It isn’t long before she’s breaking down his walls and making him feel again. She’s trying to pull him closer and he’s pushing her away.
It’s not long before Sean sees the error of his ways.
It’s too bad, though, that by the time he realizes she’s the one, Naomi’s already gone.

I’m a married mother of three. My kids are all under 5, so I can assure you that they are a handful. I’ve been with my paramedic husband now for ten years, and we’ve produced three offspring that are nothing like us. I live in the greatest state in the world, Texas.
HOSTED BY:

This may be the fourth book in the series from the Dixie Warden Rejects MC; however, each book can be read as a standalone. You do see crossover characters; however, you can easily follow along with any book read out of order. These bearded men get hotter and hotter and you fall in love with the soft side of the MC crew then add in their career and your ovaries just might explode.
This story is even more interesting as it is virtually two strangers getting paired together at work and developing a friendship that leads to more. They both have fallen in love with the wrong people and yearn for someone who doesn't love them back. It is a miracle that Naomi is even around after her events lead her recovering with her health. Warning do not start reading this book eating! I made the mistake of starting this at lunch and I was like gross, but did it stop me from reading. Heck NO!! All I can say is those feelings are real if you don't let that turn you off until it is closed up. haha
Love that you see Kilgore Fire a little bit! Sean love the banter between you and Naomi and it is so funny when "Seanshine and Nay Nay" come out especially your gift. If you really think about the irony you were both subject to "poopy" issues and you didn't hold back so you know it is true love. Just saying.
Once again, Lani keeps you hooked with the characters (main and crossover), the story and added mystery and events that keep you guessing where this is going and those hot scenes. You can start with any series and book and enjoy her stories, but if you are like us you will want to be reading them all and then be patiently waiting for Ghost's story. It's getting closer and know it is going to be a heartbreaker MC style. What's even better is you don't have to love MC reads to enjoy these stories as yes, they are in an MC, but they are good guys and have normal careers. It's a true brotherhood and family.
