In the prologue, we learn about a band and a snippet of why the band is no more. What happened to Saban and the band is the question we will want to know while starting to read cause it intrigues you right away?

Brody works for a company in the entertainment industry. He steers clear of the music industry until his boss offers him a job he's not certain he should take while seeing the potential of working with this star. Will his past come back to haunt him and can he survive being sober for 5 years being in music industry again?

Skylar lives a double life you can say. She is one image on stage and has to be this person outside of performing as well if she wants to keep her personal image separate. Seeing Skylar on the streets you wouldn't know she's famous when not in costume. She reminds me of Lady Gaga, but younger looking and more girl next door image.

Brody takes up this temporary job because really what can happen in 8 weeks?? Just be a PA to Skylar and be done to go on next assignment. HaHa you say! Brody and Skylar not only have chemistry, but they work well together. Hence, insert her mother the momanager (Kardashian style) and Skylar comes to see being family and your manager isn't always the best. No spoilers from me-so I will just say that mom is in for a shocker when her plan backfires.

In the few short 8 weeks we will see lies, betrayal, sex, some twists and that momanager getting a dose of reality. Skylar score one for you girl! This book doesn't end in a cliffy, however, you will need to read on in next book for us to get the American tour an off tour updates on Skylar, Brody and some secondary characters.
