This is book 4 in the series and each can be read as a standalone and this is a very true statement because I have read only books 1 and 2 and was hesitant on reading book 4 without reading book 3. So glad, I didn't not read this. This was beyond a five star read. I will definitely need to go back and read book 3 though so that I can get all the brothers stories.
This book will take you on an emotional ride, journey; however, you see fit to describe this story. You have been warned! Connelly and Nora have had history to say the least and its been over ten years since they last seen each other. Conn has another thing coming when it comes to Nora and he will stop at nothing to get what he wants from his business to his girl. The lies, deceit and twist in this story is off the charts. Just when you think no more twists can be thrown at you, you are left speechless with your mouth hanging open. Well played KL cause in the end Conn was played (almost like a payback) with this twist. He was one upped on that one.
It was like history repeating itself with the turn of events that occurred between the past and present. I loved Zel and wouldn't it be nice to see a spin off on the littles. Just saying. The question you will be thinking while reading this is can he forgive the deceit and what would you have done in this situation? I'm gonna miss these brothers and hope to see them in the future.
